We had an exciting start to the morning this week when Citiserve came in and delivered an assembly to our Year 8 students. The assembly focused on healthy breakfasts and the surprising sugar content of everyday breakfast cereals.  Our students were set a creative challenge: to design and make fresh fruit smoothies and four members of staff had the absolute privilege of taste testing and choosing the winning smoothie.  It was a day of firsts as not only was this a new exciting assembly experience – it was Mr Bennett’s first smoothie! All students also had the chance to taste test fresh, healthy and nutritious drinks. It was a fantastic assembly; both fun and very educational.
