As you will no doubt have heard, the National Education Union has announced two days of strike action on Wednesday 5th and Friday 7th July. Wednesday 5th July is currently set to be the Transition Day in Birmingham when all current Year 6 pupils go to their new secondary schools for the day.

In light of the announced strike and following guidance from Birmingham Local Authority, we feel that we need to change the date of Transition Day, as we do not want any young people disadvantaged by strike arrangements. We are therefore changing the Secondary Transition day to Wednesday 12th July 2023.The timings of the day will remain unaffected. The day will start at 8.40am and finish at 2.45pm. Please bring your completed Student Packs with you on the 12th.
