28 May
Today we have celebrated World Culture Day and have come together to celebrate the richness of our diverse school community remembering that we are all persons made equally in the image and likeness of God. Staff and pupils dressed to express their cultural heritage and the outfit choices were truly remarkable! We had musical interludes from across the globe throughout the day and celebrated with food from around the world.
We not only celebrated World Culture Day but today also coincided with our special celebration of The Feast of the Holy Trinity celebrating the three persons of God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Our Chaplaincy team had prepared a very special morning of reflection and Father Peter led us in a beautiful virtual mass with readings and music from our wonderful students and staff. We would like to thank all our students and their families for their generous contributions to our charities we are supporting today – Cafod and Islamic Relief. At 2pm, we observed a minutes silence for those who face cultural or religious persecution in our world.
Another wonderful day to go down in Holy Trinity Catholic Schools history.
We would like to wish all of our pupils, families and staff a peaceful half term break.
