11 Nov

With thanks to Mr Bayliss, our ICT team and our Year 11 Senior Prefects for their work in organising a truly special ‘Service of Remembrance’ this morning. This act of collective prayer and liturgy is one of the many wonders of Holy Trinity. Mr Crehan then had the privilege of observing prayer with Fatima and Nathan as Head Girl and Head Boy leading at the Memorial Garden. It was spontaneous and initiated by these two wonderful pupils. We remember all past and present who continue to die as a result of the savage and unrepentant nature of war.

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old,

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,

We will remember them.”

We continue to pray for a world that is characterised by equality, fairness, tolerance, respect, peace and love. Lord in your mercy: Hear our prayer.
