20 Dec
Friday 15th December saw our annual Christmas Mac Choir take place at the beautiful St Chad’s Cathedral. A huge thanks to all those involved in making this amazing event possible.
To all those at the Cathedral for allowing us to be lucky enough to use the stunning venue, to every student and staff member from all of the six schools; Holy Trinity, Archbishop Ilsley, Holy Souls, St Chad’s, St Joseph’s and The Rosary.
To everyone who sang their heart out and showed how much passion and dedication we all have.
A huge thank you to our talented Polly Hancock, who helped lead our choir and play the piano and to Mr Sherman for his support with choir practice and the trumpet reindition of ‘Joy to the World.’
To Liam Halloran who contributed by playing the piano so beautifully and the technical support from Mr Iqbal who enabled it to be streamed to all of the schools.
Finally, to Miss McKiernan who despite her cough managed to lead the whole concert so well.
To all of the pupils that read including our amazing Barbara. Well done- all were so brave and read so articulately. You did us proud.
A truly spiritual, festive afternoon.
Well done everyone.
