Yesterday, Miss Backhouse met with BEP and the CEC to complete our compass, the tool which we use to monitor and evaluate our careers program.
We have are very proud to announce that we have now achieved 100% in 7 out of the 8 benchmarks.
The eight Gatsby Benchmarks of Good Career Guidance are:
1. A stable careers programme
2. Learning from career and labour market information
3. Addressing the needs of each pupil
4. Linking curriculum learning to careers
5. Encounters with employers and employees
6. Experiences of workplaces
7. Encounters with further and higher education
8. Personal guidance

We are also significantly above national in all benchmarks! We are very proud of our staff and pupils and will ensure that our careers program continues to deliver the greatest impact for all pupils who attend Holy Trinity.
