We have had a very busy and exciting November in Family Learning! We started off with a visit to Star City for the cinema where we watched The Rise of Gru and really enjoyed it. Following on from the film we discussed and explored careers and celebrations. We also created our own Minions which are now on display in the Drexel.
I am so proud of our students for making and beautifully presenting and serving afternoon tea to their parents and carers on 23rd November. The students worked so well as a team and did a brilliant job. It was lovely to see our families chatting and enjoying each other’s company, we are looking forward to our Christmas party on the 14th!
A huge thanks to Miss Jones for delivering a festive candle and snow globe making session last week, our families went home with lovely hand made gifts and really enjoyed learning a new skill.
