A huge thank you for what has been another wonderful week of extra-curricular and enrichment activities for our pupils. Following on from a successful Duke of Edinburgh expedition, we have seen an array of different activities which has included, a Library visit, a ‘Forward Thinking’ trip to Birmingham University, a visit from the Army for Year 9 and our normal weekly round of sports fixtures which the PE Department facilitate religiously. Let’s not forget the great work in our peripatetic Music lessons that happens weekly in developing our pupils confidence in music and preparing some to contribute in various end of year events. Our pupils get so much out of all these opportunities with the skills and memories lasting for a lifetime. A huge thank you to all staff for making this ‘magic’ happen.

Also, a huge well-done to the PE Department for achieving ‘Silver’ in the ‘School Games Mark’! This is an excellent achievement and we are on the cusp of ‘Gold’, which the PE department are keen to push for next year!
