On Friday 26^th April, 70 pupils across year 7 and 8 were part of a study skills/revision workshop from Elevate. This is part of a whole school initiative to develop skills earlier on in KS3 so that pupils can use them effectively at GCSE to support their school work and revision. The workshop was very engaging, with excellent instruction around revision skills such as Dynamic Reading, Formatting notes, mind mapping, trigger words and memory techniques. Pupils found this very useful, and will take many strategies with them into their later years at school and beyond’
