Pupils from year 7, 8 and 9 participated in the Year 7 Maths Challenge and Year 8/9 Football Tournament.

Our wonderful pupils didn’t just bring home one trophy but two!

‘Holy Trinity won their group competition beating St Thomas, St Peters and St Edmund Campion scoring 15 goals and conceding only 3. This meant that the Holy Trinity boys qualified to the final against the winners of the other group Bishop Walsh. We started of the game with an early goal to go up 1-0. With 1 minute to go Bishop Walsh got a goal back to take the game to penalty kicks. The penalty kicks went to sudden death with Holy Trinity saving the final penalty to be crowned Catholic MAC champion!’

‘Our pupils are amazing! We went to the competition disadvantaged, the only school with three pupils as the fourth pupil was sick the on the night of the challenge. BUT, and a big but our pupils did it and WON!!! They were so willing and keen to win, and they strongly proved it (if you have a will, you will find a way). All at Holy Trinity are very proud of them!’
