Active Citizenship is important to our pupils at Holy Trinity. Pupil voice shows that they are committed to a sustainable world. Our pupils have identified caring for the environment as a key issue they want to explore this year. As a result of their work, each tutor group in Years 7-10, will have multiple opportunities to engage in a school / community litter pick during tutor time this year! This will take place on a rota basis and began with Year 9 this week. Pupils are beginning by looking at the school site. In time, we are looking to extend this to the wider local community. We have purchased 30 litter pickers and are already seeing the positive results. Well done Year 9! Here are some photos of our active citizens at work.
