Teacher of Technology

 

Due to expansion, we are seeking to recruit the right candidate from specialisms including Food, Product Design/ Textiles, Engineering Design and Computer Science.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative, and passionate teacher to join our thriving and ambitious Technology Department. Our school is in an exciting period of expansion and with this are looking to further enhance our dynamic team. The technology department has recently undergone a refurbishment. If appointed, you would be very much part of the decision-making process around developing the curriculum, resources, and facilities to further enhance the learning opportunities available to our pupils.

This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or Early Careers Teacher with the right skill set to build and develop their career. We are looking for a teacher who is creative, motivated, and innovative with a love for their subject, who can engage young people in learning. A TLR 2b is available to the right candidate pending skill set and experience.

Role Requirement:

  • Dedication with a high aspiration and ambition for all pupils
  • QTS with classroom experience
  • Self-motivation and the ability to inspire others
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative lessons across key stage 3 and 4 including the delivery of GCSE and vocational qualifications
  • Hard working and Self-sufficient with the ability to lead on own area of specialism
  • Excellent ICT skills
  • A willingness to lead extra- curricular activities linked to technology
