Dear Parents/Carers,

It has been important to give staff and pupils time to settle back into school and focus on the teaching and learning taking place in the classroom. As a result, there has been no formal homework set in school since the pupils returned on 8th March.

However, we have come a long way with Microsoft Teams and how confident and proficient our children are in using it so we want to build on this before it becomes a distant memory! Homework is also crucial for pupils’ organisational skills, as a means of recapping and revising and as a tool to improve learning in the classroom.

Starting from this week, we will be regularly setting homework for all year groups with the difference being, it will now all be online.
