On Friday 24th and Saturday 25th September a group of Year 11 students completed their assessed expedition for their Bronze Award. On Friday, the walk started at Waseley Hills visitors centre, the student then navigated to the Lickey Hills visitors centre and finally onto Blackwell Court, where they camped for the night.
At camp, the students successfully pitched their tents and cooked dinner using a trangia. It was a very early start for students on Saturday morning and they cooked breakfast and packed their tents away. The students successfully navigated to Forhill Ash. All members of the group were a credit to the school in the way they behaved and the commitment they demonstrated throughout the two days. They were all successful in passing the expedition part of their award.
Well done Year 11!
