‘The Socratic Society of Holy Trinity offers pupils the opportunity to engage in discussions about philosophy, ethics, and current events. A large part of this is the participation in open debates called Philosothons where we learn how to debate and discuss ideas correctly. The society is open to all students in any year group, sessions are held every Wednesday lunchtime and last roughly thirty minutes giving us enough time for ideas to be shared and heard. An overall enticing club to take part in where everyone’s opinion is valid, respected and welcomed.’
